The woods used to produce our bicycles include oak, mahogany, ash, birch, walnut, bubinga, purple heart and others upon request. All of the hardwood purchased comes from “maintained” forests. Domestic hardwoods are used when ever possible. These types of hardwood are known for their strength and beauty. All materials are purchased locally which stimulates local economies and accommodates “green building” trend.
